World-renowned author and civil rights activist Dr. Maya Angelou passed away Wednesday at the age of 86.
Beyonce, Rihanna, Pharrell and more have taken to social media to pay tribute to the beloved poet.
Beyonce posted Maya Angelou's words on her Instagram account with the caption, "Still I rise, Maya Angelou, 1928."
