A man from Orange is in the Calcasieu Parish Jail charged with attempted murder. 32-year
old Kevin Edwards is accused of shooting a man through the window of a home in Lake Charles.
The man was last listed in stable condition following surgery. A woman inside the home was
cut by glass shattered from the gunshot. There were children in the home at the time. They were
not hurt. Edwards’ bond has been set at $120,000.
