Three burglary suspects are jailed. Early yesterday morning Beaumont police were called to
Cowboy Harley on I-10 in reference to suspicious activity where they found 26-year old
Demarcus Brown, who was in possession of marijuana and two firearms that were stolen in
an overnight burglary. Police located the other two suspects at the Super 8 Motel on I-10.
19-year old Corbin Branch and 21-year old Frederick Tyson jumped out of the motel window
and were arrested following a brief foot chase. Brown, Branch, and Tyson are responsible for
at least five auto burglaries and are believed to be responsible for several more. They are facing
multiple charges. A fourth man, 23-year old Shedrick Matthews was also arrested and charged
with possession of marijuana.
