A 38-year old Hardin County man serving a 20-year prison sentence for attacking a Kountze
policewoman has been sentenced to an additional 99 years for assaulting a female jailer at the
Hardin County Jail. Frank Banks pleaded guilty to the assault yesterday and was sentenced this
morning by Judge Steve Thomas. Banks will have to serve the 20 year sentence before he starts
serving the 99 years.
