Day three of testimony gets underway in Judge John Stevens courtroom at the Jefferson County
courthouse in the murder trial of 18-year old Tyrece Harris, who is on trial for the April 2016
shooting death of Jimmy Bertrand. Bertrand was shot and killed outside his home on Sun
Meadow in Beaumont. An accomplice, Reggie Collins, dropped his cell phone at the scene
and that led to the arrest of Harris. They were in the Bertrand garage to burglarize the home.
