A Jefferson County grand jury has indicted a Beaumont man on a charge on intoxication
manslaughter. 36-year old Wayne Everett Cummings has been indicted for the January
2017 death of Linda Matthew Ramsey, who died when a vehicle driven by Cummings at
a high rate of speed broadsided her vehicle at Magnolia and Parry in Beaumont. Cummings
admitted taking an unknown type of drug prior to the wreck.
