There is no change in the price for a gallon of gas in Beaumont over that past week as the average
price stayed at $2.40, which is up 30 cents from a month ago. The statewide average dropped five
cents over the past week to $2.46. The national average for a gallon of gas is $2.58, which is
down six cents.
