Vidor police report a man on a bicycle was struck and killed by a car last night. The 65-year
old man was riding his bike in the 1000 block of South FM 105, near the Masonic Lodge
when he was hit. He died at the scene. The bicyclist was not wearing any reflective clothing
and did not have lights on his bike. The Vidor city council recently that requires bicyclist
have lights and reflective clothing.
