A Jefferson County man is jailed for pulling a gun on family members during an argument.
Deputies were called to a home in the 8400 block of Terry Road yesterday morning on a
family disturbance call. Once on the scene, they learned 26-year old Cory Alan James was
arguing with several family members. James retrieved a pump shotgun and pointed the gun
at family members and continued to argue with them. Deputies set up a perimeter and were
able convince James to exit the house. He has been charged with aggravated assault family
violence with a weapon
