Day two of testimony in the punishment phase in the capital murder trial of 40-year old Jason
Delacerda gets underway this morning at the Hardin County Courthouse in Kountze. The 40-
year old Kountze man faces either the death penalty or life in prison for the 2011 murder of
4-year old Breonna Loftin. The girl’s mother, Amanda Guidry, is also charged in her death. A
trial date for Guidry has not been set.
