A Beaumont woman has been sentenced to nearly six years in federal prison for drug
trafficking. 29-year old Heather Nicole Lugo was arrested at a home in Beaumont in
November of 2015 when a search warrant of a home revealed crack cocaine, firearms,
marijuana, and hydrocodone. She pleaded guilty in October of 2016 and absconded while
awaiting sentencing and remained a fugitive until her arrest this past December. Yesterday,
Heather Nicole Lugo was sentenced to 70 months.
