A man that pleaded guilty to intoxication manslaughter and intoxication assault is on his way

to prison for eight years. That is the sentence a Jefferson County jury gave Kendrick McColney

on the intoxication manslaughter for the January 2016 death of Clinton Meadows. Meadows

was changing a tire on his wife’s car when he was struck by a vehicle driven by McCloney.

McCloney was placed on 10 years probation for the intoxication assault plea. McCloney must

serve at least two years before becoming eligible for parole
