A former Beaumont tax preparer has been sentenced to 2 ½ years in federal prison for income
tax fraud. 36-year old Charles Maull II pleaded guilty in February on six counts of willfully
and aiding in the preparation and filing of a false income tax return. The crimes occurred from
2010 through 2017. Maull was ordered to report to the federal prison complex in Texarkana
on July 24th.
