A Beaumont man has been indicted by a Jefferson County grand jury for retaliation. 52-year
old Roy Kinkler Jr. is accused of threatening his ex-girlfriend at her place of employment for
having him arrested. It was related to an earlier incident in which he allegedly threatened her
new boyfriend. Following that threat, Kinkler was arrested by Beaumont police for evading.
At that time he was in possession of a shotgun.
