Human Trafficking Trial In Jefferson County

Testimony resumes this morning at the Jefferson County courthouse in the trial of a man

accused of forcing at least three women into prostitution and threatening to kill them if

they didn’t follow his orders. Johnny Ray Matlock met his victims on social media and

would take them to a Beaumont motel and threaten them. He is charged with human trafficking

and faces up to 25 years in prison if convicted.
