The Beaumont city council has approved a $1.8 million pipe bursting contract to replace
defective sewer lines and manholes through the city. The city maintains approximately 760
miles of sewer lines and 10,000 sewer manholes. The projects will help the city keep its sewer
infrastructure in working order.
