Argument Over Sleeping Leads To Liberty County Shooting

An argument over sleeping arrangements led to a shooting in Liberty County Wednesday

night. 78-year old Jerry Griffin told deputies he was trying to scare 22-year old James

Nelms when he fire three shots in to the floor of a home. One of the shots hit Nelms in

the leg. No charges have been filed at this time as the investigation continues.
