A Houston woman is facing multiple charges in Jefferson County. Earlier this week, the
Jefferson County Narcotics Task Force made a traffic stop on I-10, near Highway 365. The
deputy recognized the woman from a previous stop from transporting a large amount of
money and drugs. A search of her vehicle revealed marijuana and over $11.000 in cash.
39-year old Iesha Swafford is charged with possession of marijuana and money laundering.
She was booked into the Jefferson County Correctional Facility.
