A Vidor man faces up to 10 years in federal prison after pleading guilty for being a felon
in possession of a firearm. 30-year old Taylor Graham Cortez was involved in a
motorcycle wreck the past July on I-10 in Orange County. Cortez, a convicted felon, was in
possession of a backpack that contained drugs and a firearm. The motorcycle he wrecked was
stolen.He will be sentenced for the gun possession charge on a later date.
