Taking a look at some of the Southeast Texas results from yesterday, Zena Stephens won
reelection for Jefferson County Sheriff with 53% of the vote. Republican David Odom picked
up 45% and Libertarian Stephen Broussard 2%. JC Pollard defeated Mark Mann for Constable,
Precinct 1 in Jefferson County with 55%. Tyler County Sheriff Bryan Weatherford won
reelection over Michael King with 68% of the vote. Both Southeast Texas congressmen, Randy
Weber and Brian Babin won their races. Hamshire-Fannett voters said yes to one of two school
bond issues and Hardin-Jefferson voters passed both bond issues.
