Beaumont police have released the name of a man that was struck and killed by an 18-wheeler
yesterday morning on I-10, near the MLK exit. 51-year old Kelly June Grogan Jr was crossing
the interstate when he was hit. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The auto/pedestrian
fatality forced the interstate to be closed for several hours.
