Abbott Banning COVID Mandated Shots In Schools

Austin, TX) -- Texas Governor Greg Abbott is banning COVID vaccine mandates in public schools. The CDC is recommending that the shots be added to the back-to-school requirements and many districts use federal guidance to craft their own policy. In a letter to superintendents, the Republican governor says parents have the ability to opt out of any vaccine. He says families should have the final say on healthcare.
