How to Prepare Your Home

The City of Beaumont Water Utilities Department strongly recommends insulating all external pipes and faucets before the hard freeze tonight with wrapping you can pick up from the local hardware store.

If insulation is not possible and you’re worried about freezing, turn off the water and drain the pipes each night throughout the duration of the weather event.

We ask that you refrain from dripping or running the faucets because it puts too much strain on the system.

As always, if you need assistance, please call 3-1-1 and follow the prompts.
