Detectives Continue Beaumont Murder Investigation

Beaumont police detectives continue to interview witnesses into Saturday’s homicide. Three

arrests have already been made in the shooting death of 30-year old Geraldo Escamilla. The

shooting occurred in a parking lot outside of DMoney Daiquiris in the 6500 block of Phelan

Blvd. 20-year old Armani Rashad Wallace and 18-year old Jared Battles, both of Orange, are

in the Jefferson County Correctional Facility. Both, charged with murder, are being held on

$950,000 bonds. A 16-year old is charged with evading and possessing weapon. He is in the

Minnie Rogers Juvenile Detention Center. Additional arrests could follow.
