It appears a bank robber wants to go back to prison. 68-year old Jimmy Maynard, of Beaumont, walked
into the PNC Bank on I-10 yesterday and handed the teller a note. On the note he said he was robbing the
bank and asked for five dollars and for the clerk to call police. He waited until police arrived and was
arrested. When he was asked why five dollars he said five is his lucky number. His bond was then set
at $555,555.55. Maynard had early served a 12 year sentence for aggravated robbery. He was released
from prison in 2015
