Entergy-Texas is requesting nearly $80 million in grant funding for a grid strengthening project in Port
Arthur. The $79.5 million grant would be for infrastructure improvements to increase reliability and
resiliency of electric power delivery, resulting in less damage, lower restoration costs, and faster recovery
times after storms.
