The annual Tax-Free weekend is underway in Texas. Shoppers can receive certain items, priced up to
$100 tax free. This includes most clothing, footwear, school supplies, and backpacks. Last year it is
estimated Texans saved $112 million during the three year period. The tax-free weekend, that was
enacted in 1999, continues through midnight Sunday.
