It was a long and hot afternoon for firefighters in Orange County.. They battled a 40 acre grass fire in the
Little Cypress area. No homes were damaged and there were no injuries. Firefighters were on the scene
for nearly five hours. The fire has been contained. The cause of the fire is being investigated as all of
Southeast Texas under a burn ban.
