The DPS has released the name of a pedestrian that was killed on I-10, near the 877 mile marker, in
Orange County Wednesday morning. 71-year old Howard Allen Lewis, of Orange, was on the interstate
and was hit by an eastbound SUV. He was then struck by an 18-wheeler that did not stop. Lewis was
pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the SUV was not hurt.
