As of late yesterday afternoon, 75% of the fire in the Texla Road area of Orange County had been
contained. There are now fire lanes surrounding the perimeter and crews continue to improve and
widen lanes and suppress hot spots. Smoke could linger for days. If you do not live in the area, you
are asked to stay away due to heavy fire vehicle traffic.
