An aggravated kidnapping in Beaumont ended with the suspect taking his own life. Lee Austin Senegal is
accused of forcing the victim from a home in the 6700 block of Greenwood, driving her to Vinton,
Louisiana, then returning to Beaumont. Senegal barricaded himself inside a home in the 9600 Broun.
Beaumont PD SWAT and negotiators were able to get Senegal to release children from the home. Two hours
later, police entered the home and found Senegal dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
