Group Planning To Sue State's Republican Party

(Austin, TX) -- A group that has been pushing for Texas to secede from the union is planning to sue the state's republican party after their proposition will be left off the primary ballot. The Texas Nationalist Movement submitted more than 130-thousand signatures before the filing deadline. But, in a statement, the head of the Texas GOP says the names were not valid. Only a small fraction were handwritten. The rest were electronic signatures, which don't meet the requirement.Even if the proposition made it on the ballot, secession is not allowed.
