A student at Port Arthur Memorial High School has been indicted by the Jefferson County grand jury on
two counts of assault of a police officer. On January 5th, 17-year old Ja’Kelvin Trahan appeared to be
intoxicated at the school. He fought with campus officers, punching one of them in the face. He was
able to remove taser prongs used on him. Trahan also attempted to start a parked school bus.
