A Beaumont man is jailed for firing shots inside a convenience store that fleeing from police.
39-year old Quentin D Roy fired shots in the air during a disturbance at J & J Express in the
3100 block of Cardinal Drive. Police attempted to pull Roy over on 4th Street and he sped off.
Following a lengthy chase, Roy wrecked his car at the turn around on MLK and I-10. He
has been charged with discharging a firearm and evading.
