The DPS reports a Silsbee man was killed in a one vehicle wreck in Jasper County. 90-year
old Robert Herbst was driving northbound on Highway 96, three miles north of Silsbee, when
a front tire blew out. Herbst lost control of the car and traveled off the highway and rolled over.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
