Listen, up people, because THIS IS NOT A DRILL. Arianators hoping and praying for new Ariana Grande music soon are getting their wish! The pop superstar has teamed up with Troye Sivan, and the Australian singer/songwriter has confirmed the news.
Troye is gearing up to release his second album, the followup to 2015's Blue Neighbourhood, and confirmed to Nick Grimshaw that Ariana Grande will be appearing on a song the pair have recorded together on the upcoming LP.
Troye took to Twitter to happily confirm the news to his fans and Arianators alike, writing, "Yes!!! The rumours are trumours!! @arianagrande is my pop queen and i can’t wait for you guys to hear our song."
Troye told the UK radio host that the announcement wasn't planned, and went on to talk about the exciting new collaboration. He said, "Her and I are friends. She's really fun. I said 'would you ever sing on this song?' And she just did it."
He added, "My favorite thing is not telling people who it is, and then starting to play the song and as soon as she starts to sing, everyone's like 'are you serious?' Her voice is nuts."
Troye's yet-to-be-titled second album is due out sometime this year. So far, fans have heard his single "My My My," and another song called "The Good Side."
Fans have already taken to Twitter to talk about how thrilled they are about this new Troye/Ariana (Troyiana?) collab. Take a look at some of the best reactions below, and, same guys. Same.
