A second wave of debris removal in Port Arthur will began next Monday, March 12th in the area between
25th Street and Highway 73. This will include Foster Estates and the immediate adjacent area. City
employees will continue debris removal in the remaining areas throughout the city. Last month, TxDot
completed the first round of participation within the city of Port Arthur for the removal of debris that
included 25th Street between Woodworth and Duff Avenue toward the ship channel. During this four
week period, TxDot collected more than 9,900 cubic yards of debris.
