A Beaumont man is jailed charged with aggravated assault following an altercation with another
man in the parking lot of the Dairy Queen on East Lucas. The victim, listed in critical condition
has been transported to a Houston hospital. 57-year old Charles Franklin was arrested in the
area and transported to the Jefferson County Jail.
