"Rick and Morty" help Logic Announce His "Bobby Tarantino II" Mixtape

After being nominated for "Best Music Video" and "Song of the Year" at the Grammy's this year for his hit song "1-800-273-8255" (Featuring Alessia Cara & Khalid), Logic is gearing up to drop a new project this Friday, March 8th. The 28-year-old rapper who is known to always have an interesting manner of announcing his next project normally using trailers or other visuals pieces, got an assist from some very familiar cartoon characters.

From the hit show Logic got none other than Rick and Morty themselves voiced by Justin Roiland. The bit from the Adult Swim show features the two arguing about what they should listen to. Morty asks Rick if he wants to listen to Logic and then the two get into an argument on how Logic sounds on his mixtapes versus his albums.

When Morty asks if Rick likes Logic's music he says:

"Morty, calm down. Of course, I love Logic. Who doesn’t like Logic? You gotta be a f****** idiot if you don’t like Logic. I’m in the mood to turn some s*** up, Morty. (Referring to "Mixtape Logic") I’m not in the mood for a message about how I can be whatever I want." Here Rick is referring to Logic's "Everybody" album which carried a strong message of equality being one of the central themes of the album.

At the end of the argument between the two, it is revealed (in the same font that the title for the show is in) that Logic's new Mixtape "Bobby Tarantino ii" will be dropping March 9th!
