The NCAA playoffs sure look like the American Political playoffs. A nonpolitician gets elected (Trump, aka Loyola of Chicago, and blue blood (Virginia, a sure thing knocked out by UMBC, us may be cool, get it. UM…never mind. All the favorites are going belly up and all the little guys are not just winning. They are in many cases, blowouts. I haven’t heard one coach NOT take the blame for a loss. That’s the big difference between the playoffs in the NCAA and the elections. Who could I be talking about, anyway??
