A man and woman are jailed charged with aggravated assault family violence. Beaumont
police were called to a home in the 700 block of Roberts just past 6:00 last night in reference to a
disturbance. Once on the scene, they learned one of the suspects held the victim while the other
stabbed her multiple times in the head with a box cutter. The suspects were transported to the
Jefferson County Correctional Facility. The stab wounds are not life threatening.
