The DPS reports two children were hurt over the weekend following a one vehicle rollover in
Jefferson County. A Jeep was traveling north on Highway 69, near Spurlock, Saturday afternoon
when a tire blew out causing the driver to lose control. A 1-year old was airlifted to a Houston
hospital and a 3-year old was transported by ambulance to Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in
Beaumont. Both were listed in serious condition. The driver and mother of the children, 23-year
old Detinee Guidry of Beaumont, sustained minor injuries.
