Be prepared. Beginning this coming Monday, the city of Beaumont will begin a construction
project on Dowlen Road. The city will be repairing broken curbs, constructing new sidewalks,
and adding new asphalt pavement on Dowlen Road from Folsom to the overpass just pass Old
Calder Road. The project will include the widening of select turning bays near Crow Road and
the entrance to Parkdale Mall off of Dowlen Road. One lane each way will be open to traffic.
Motorists are asked to be aware of all detour signs and advance warning.
