Beaumont police have released the name of a motorcyclist that was killed last night.
20-year old Cody Ray Kendrick, of Beaumont, was traveling southbound on Major
Drive, near Brooks Road, at a high rate of speed when he hit the back of a southbound
car. Kendrick was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the car, a 19-year old
Beaumont woman, was not hurt.
