Gas prices continue to increase. This morning’s average price for a gallon in the Beaumont/
Port Arthur area is $2.51, which is up four cents. The statewide average jumped seven cents
to $2.59 a gallon. This morning’s national average is $2.80 a gallon, that is up a nickel from
