Tex-Dot will host a public hearing this evening on a project planned on I-10 from Major Drive
to Walden Road. The project will include widening the interstate to three lanes in each
direction, removing the Brooks Road overpass, and rebuild I-10 as an overpass over Smith
Road. There are other parts of the project that will be discussed at this evening’s hearing.
There will be an open house from 5:00 to 6:00 and the public hearing. Both will be at the
Ford Park Exhibit Hall.
