Day two of testimony in the punishment phase of the Kendrick McCloney trial gets underway
this morning at the Jefferson County courthouse. McCloney pleaded guilty on Monday to
charges of intoxication manslaughter and intoxication assault for the January 2016 death of
Kendrick Meadows. Meadows was changing a tire on his wife’s car on I-10 in Beaumont when
he was struck and killed by a vehicle driven by McCloney.
