A man that pleaded guilty to intoxication manslaughter and intoxication assault is on his way
to prison for eight years. That is the sentence a Jefferson County jury gave Kendrick McColney
on the intoxication manslaughter for the January 2016 death of Clinton Meadows. Meadows
was changing a tire on his wife’s car when he was struck by a vehicle driven by McCloney.
McCloney was placed on 10 years probation for the intoxication assault plea. McCloney must
serve at least two years before becoming eligible for parole
