The death of a Nederland man has been ruled a homicide. An autopsy has revealed 40-year
old Michael Legg died from blunt force injuries, with major blows to his throat and chest.
Incoming Chief of Police Gary Porter says they are following all leads. Legg was found dead in
his home Wednesday morning in the 8100 block of Beuxart Garden Road. It’s Nederland’s first
homicide since 2013. Anyone with any information is asked to call the Nederland Police Department.
