I love radio. I go back 60 years and have heard it all. That is, till the next day. Then it’s a new world. There is nothing people enjoy more than correcting you. Even if they are incorrect. there have been few stories of folklore in which I have not been challenged. From Lucky Strike to Pearl beer. From fried chicken to fruitcake. From Alabama to Arizona and from chicken pox to chicken (exp). I feel as sorry for the weather guys. No matter what they say, if they get it wrong, they get razzed. If they get it right, no one mentions it. Radio guys don’t have a dog in the hunt unless of course, they agree with you. Open up the phones and let people tell you where the best BBQ is and the next day someone will call you and tell you they were wrong and so are you for letting them express an opinion. That’s why I love radio. Do you think someone got under my skin today??
